New features planned for public preview in Feb 2021

🔗Benefits management workspace

The benefits management workspace will focus on providing specific views for HR administrators based on the enrollment period selected:

  • Employees with unconfirmed selections
  • New hires not enrolled
  • Employees with no plans selected during open enrollment
  • Open life events
  • Future life events
  • Employees enrolled in benefits

Also a separate tab will be made available to view process results and communications.

I am excited to see this in action on a trail environment and test a few things🤩

Features moved from public preview to general availability in Feb 2021

🔗Enable simplified integration with recruiting providers

This roadmap item is focused on exposing the recruitment based scenario specific api’s that will help customers and partners achieve tight integrations with Dynamics 365 Human Resources.

🔗Enhanced candidate profile in personnel management

This roadmap item is focused on enhancing the candidate records on Dynamics 365 Human Resources Personnel Management to include additional details such as skills, employment history and additional information gathered during the hiring process.

This would help in avoiding the HR team to re enter the candidate data into the employee records.

🔗Manager can submit a recruiting request for open positions

At the moment there is a Request new position capability on Manager Self Service, but this would only end up creating a new position. The enhancements as I understand would help the manger be involved with the hiring process a bit by being able to trigger the workflow to start the hiring process and also being able to keep track of the hiring process. I am curious and looking forward to this enhancement.

🔗Employee leave and absence on Microsoft Teams!
